Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, please visit our Request Return & Replacement Page. If you encounter any issues, our dedicated team is here to help. We strive to assist you through clear and helpful guidelines, ensuring your experience with us is exceptional.

Product Care and Return Conditions

We pack our products with care and love to ensure they reach you safely. In the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged or you don’t like the product, please send us a photo and video of the product and box within 5 days of receiving your order.

If we have delivered the wrong or damaged product, we will replace it immediately.

Eligible Return and Replacement Conditions

We welcome requests for replacement or return under the following circumstances:

  • If you identify a manufacturing defect in the received product.
  • The product supplied is different from the product ordered.
  • The product supplied must not have been used or worn out.
  • The customer must return it in the same original packing in which it was received. The original packing must not be broken or soiled.
  • The customer must supply proof of purchase or receipt of the product.
  • Products under warranty (if eligible).

Non-Eligible Products for Returns

To maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen and keep our prices fair, many items are “Final Sale.” Please check with our customer team which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.

  • Food serving products, ceramics, cutlery, and other fragile products are not eligible for returns.
  • Handicrafts and natural materials with slight color and texture differences are not eligible for returns.
  • Tiny bubbles on ceramic will not be considered a defect if they are not visible on the upper surface.
  • Damaged goods that are used or manhandled will not be accepted as returns.

Refunds and Cancellations

  • Goods ordered if not in stock and those that cannot be exchanged for a similar product will be refunded.
  • At any point, the refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled/altered once packed/shipped and will be treated as a return if there is non-acceptance.

Unreceived Orders

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, AksharVeda reserves the right to deny future orders if COD orders are declined.
  • For prepaid orders, if the order is refused or returned, AksharVeda will refund the amount. However, re-delivery requests will incur charges.

Return and Refund Process

The return will be processed without any charge. We will pick up the product(s) from your doorstep, and once the product arrives at our warehouse, we will issue a store credit for the value of items or initiate a refund to the original payment method for the value of the items returned.

As a courtesy to our esteemed customers, we assure you that refunds will be processed for returned products. However, we kindly request customers to thoroughly pack the products to prevent any damage during transit. This includes ensuring secure packaging and, if possible, conducting a drop test before handing the return to our courier partner.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we shall notify the customer through email or call that we have received your returned item(s). We shall also inform you of the approval or rejection of your store credit through email.

Once returns are received by us and clear our quality checks, you will receive store credit/voucher which you will be able to redeem in your next purchase. The voucher can be used anytime in the next 3 months without any limitations.

Handmade Craftsmanship

All the carvings are done by hand, so minor carving differences can be there. That’s the beauty of handmade crafts.

Exchange or Refund Requests

The request for exchange or refund should be lodged within 5 days after delivery. The exchange or return will take place only if there is an uncut/non-edited package opening video.
